3241 WL before any cleaning Only missing one oven rack and the thermodome. Was working in the 60's on propane. The paddle shaped counter weight for the t-dome is about 20 pounds, love the challenge here. Admin edit: Cinn I moved that last picture down. Two pictures side by side made it hard to read the posts.

Wow! Those ancient ones from the twenties are so intriguing...a challenge indeed. See parts for these come up on eBay, but rarely. Once in awhile a Thermodome will pop up, so keep looking. Good luck...she'll end up looking great!

Glad to know there will be "eyes" out there for the dome. My local stove guy says the rack is no prob. She's cleaning up nice, hope the weather holds. Cast iron is a cold beast this time of year.

Wow. The old stoves have such pretty "bones."
I've seen two thermodomes show up on ebay in the last couple years. That might be a long wait for you, but if you're patient, one will come along. Otherwise, you might want to try calling around to a few of the professionals. Try Don Mattera, here on the board.
You'll be blazing new trail here, Cinnabar. Keep on posting pics, please!
Welcome to the group.

She'll be in my 1922 colonial type home, and replacing the late model tappan. All things "1920 ish" seems to be a trend here.

Oven door and latch. A little cleaning yet. Some guts before cleaning. Frame uncleaned, upsidedown and backwards. Note the crank for the Tdome. Need to get that off, but it adds support while cleaning.

Here are the brackets before replating Here 4 weeks and 400 bucks later New Nickel The gas manifold and frame this all attaches to will be black, couldn't justify the extra money to put new nickel on them. More photos as I get going. Gonna look sharp, can hardly wait.

Got the tdome burner back today, it had a hole in the bottom, the guy plugged so we'll see how it holds up. Check out the burner action here; T-dome burner Not cleaned or polished Cleaned polished and new plated shutter valves. Oven damper in the lower left.

Here she is getting the manifold fitted for permatex, just making sure all the parts fit. The oven needs a small weld on the inside, gas line to be tested and it will be show time. Lily the dog is helpful as always. cinn

She's cooking!!! Small snafu with the pilot and warming burner, but small potatoes. Will be fixed soon. The oven is good need to touch up with grill paint in a few spots. I guess we need to fix the wall behind the stove now. I need a drink, several! Flamage ;D cinn
