We would like to put a farm house sink in our kitchen, and of course most of them are in rough shape. Does anyone know if they do this service and about how much it would cost?

I asked him why & he said EVERY ONE he EVER did, eventually or immediately the finish would "bubble". Jeff did NOT know the reason WHY. I BEGGED him to go ahead & do mine, I'd prepay him and I NOT hold it against him if the finish failed. He STILL wouldn't do it. He does STEEL sinks though--I believe Robere had one done down there?... CHEERS! Chuckie

Thanks Chuckie. There is supposed to be one place in the United States that does it, but I am within driving distance of IPE, so was hoping he could. I guess try to find one that is in a condition you can live with.

The place that does them is Custom Ceramic Coatings. They're east of St. Louis, so not terribly inconvenient if you're in the Midwest, but then I look at it in the terms of driving from WA State. I haven't had anything done there so can't speak from experience but on the stove stuff that they do I hear good stuff. We have an enameler near us, Winsor Fireform, who does specialty work like signs, and they were talking about doing that kind of work on a trial basis but Covid put that on hold. When I drove by there a couple of weeks ago it looked like a ghost town, so I don't know whether they've even survived the pandemic. If you don't already have the info on Custom Ceramic Coatings, here's their link: www.customceramic.com/index.htm .

Well, we are only two hours from St. Louis. So maybe a possibility then. Thanks!
Interesting on the stove enamel. They are actually twice as close as IPE.
