I've made these before, never thought to post recipe out here!! 4 potatoes, scrubbed & dried (I used Yukon Gold) 2 or so pats of butter 1/2 teaspoon EACH of garlic & onion powder, celery salt, whole thyme, rosemary leaves and basil 1 tsp oregano 1 TBS dried parsley Other herbs as desired (above is what I used tonight) Four squares of tinfoil
After scrubbing/drying spuds, put a dollop of butter on them. Have foil ready. Use your hands to smear butter around all potatoes, drop into store bag w/mixed bunch of herbs. Shake hell outta the bag. Place herbed spuds on foil, roll up, put on thermobaker. Run gas 25 minutes, then CWTGTO @ LEAST another 40 minutes. They are VERY good like this!! And I used the leftover herbs that DIDN'T stick on some sirloin tip steaks I'm gonna grill after Mass tonight: IF I remember will post a pic of the spuds when they come outta the thermowell... CHEERS! Chuckie
UPDATE: TA-DA!!! Finished product, pretty tasty!!

Oh man, those look so good, Chuckie! And I'm sitting here freezing, so they also sound nice and warm.

Those look and sound fantastic. Thanks for the detailed post! With all my Twell baking, I need to get cracking on potatoes.

I'm going to try this on sweet potatoes. I like the kitchen sink philosophy as far as the herbs go!
