Hey folks! I'm trying to empty see pictures on my phone and came across these I taken of things I saw in stores that might be useful with a Chambers. One is the copper griddle topper that I use and was posted on recently. But the others are just some pots that I thought might be of interest. I hope it's useful to someone. I'll post pictures in a bit picture.

Okay. I guess I've never posted pictures from my phone and it's not giving me an option here to do that so I'll see if I have these on my computer.

I can take a look next time i go. Unfortunately the other files of the nice griddles were too large to post. : (( I might try again and decrease the size, but it's not near so it might be a while. i think the seal is removeable. I really like the enamalware.... I use the Mexican pot that I post on a couple of years ago almost exclusively now. It's just so cute to have out and is great for soups, etc.

I love the looks of the Staub cookware, but my cheapskate heart can't handle the prices.

I have a motley but useful assortment of aluminum pots for the well, one big stainless steel one, and a few other stainless or ceramic ones that I can use with the thermobaker, but I could use a medium sized, approximately 2 or 3 qt, stainless or enameled one. Do the Mexican pots have one that size, Vaporvac?

I'll have to check out the actual size, but mine is smaller than theWearever single which I really like. They do make a smaller one, but I didn't buy that one. I just downloaded some old pics so I'll check unless I find my old post. I saw these in Indy. I've seen other things by this same brand, but not the pots which is why I offered to get them for anyone at the time. I found them online in some SWEET colours which seem to be discontinued. I really wanted pale yellow. I'll keep an eye out for you as i come across many interesting things and they're usually a bargain. I also really like these as they have a removable bale handle.Yay!!! Another question - What can I use to clean a t-well lid? 000 steel wool? What's the t-well lid made out of?

It depends on your lid. If it's the aluminum one try Barkeeper Friend. If it's the chrome one try Barkeeper's Friend. ;-) ...or Maas polish. P.S. I believe those griddles will work and some here use them. However, they are too heavy to use with the grill at the same time.

Another question - What can I use to clean a t-well lid? 000 steel wool? What's the t-well lid made out of? I ALWAYS just wipe my (porcelain) Model B top down w/a damp sponge, and THEN use like Windex or $$ store brand window cleaner. Squirt it on the thermowell lid, let it set a few seconds, then wipe it off w/a paper towel. The ammonia in the cleaner REALLY brightens up the lid! After I've gotten done w/the Windex cleaning of the stove top/handles/lid, I use an old time cotton tea towel to kinda "polish" it with. Looks GR8 every time IMHO... CHEERS! Chuckie

I use my old pancake griddle instead of the Chambers one for pancakes. It is a pretty good fit width wise, but a few inches shorter. I use the drip pan in front of the burner screws to help balance it. It works fine. I got tired of fiddling around with the Chambers griddle. Too cool and the pancakes stick, too hot and they burn. Yet french toast comes out absolutely perfect without even greasing it... My old griddle is a Mirro, anodized aluminum. I had thought for years it was teflon, but as a result of discussions on the forum I realized it wasn’t. Which made me happy!

Who knows? I bought mine around 35 years ago in Oklahoma at one of those overstock, scratch and dent stores. I needed a pancake griddle and it was cheap and reminded me of my mom’s so I bought it. I suppose someone still makes them if the company is still in business...
Nope, a quick lookup on Wikipedia says they went out of business in 2003. I guess Calphalon would be the closest thing.
Although another look-see on the internet shows someone must have bought the name and is still selling cookware under that name, kind of like how Chambers eventually became just a name to stick on someone else’s stove.
