50 cents at a yard sale. Assembly by 5 year old grandson not included. Worth it just to look at the depth of the colors!

That's cool. It's a pretty old one too.
I should try to hit more yard sales, but I fear I'd spend too much on things I don't need but want anyway. I do too much of that already at the thrift stores. I need to learn how to get rid of some of the stuff I have already.

My totally haphazard guess is it's from sometime in the 40's. Amazing that none of the pieces were missing!

I would frame and hang that!

That's what my Grandma did with a puzzle we did of The Last Supper. She had it hanging for years.

I'm always a little sad to see toys become collectors items and not be played with anymore. That whole melancholy Velveteen Rabbit/Skin Horse/Island of Misfit Toys thing. I have framed a puzzle or two before--we have a glow in the dark panorama of Las Vegas believe it or not at the top of our basement stairs so that when you come back up the stairs and turn out the light you get a real eyeful--but somehow this puzzle seemed like it needed a child. And now it has one, so all is well!
