I was in a restaurant in Co last week and they had two of these. Not a Chambers, but very cute and popular in the Western states. Unfortunately, it's totally fake... just the front on a door. Still, it's a very clever re-use of a small stove, although I'd prefer to see it kept intact for another day. My local craig's list (or was it ebay?) has a very old dismantled Chambers, similar to Cinnabar's lady. They made a table with the legs and are sell everything else piecemeal. What not just put it back together?

They're trying to maximize how much they can make off of the parts. I hate to see it, but I don't know what the oven looked like, or if It could have been beyond fixing. I thought of bidding on the oven racks to have spares. It's racks are interchangeable with all ovens until the model B.

I love those old port hole ovens! We looked at a house years ago in Dallas that had two of those ovens in pink, plus a turquoise water heater that was shaped like a rocket ship. I would have bought the house for the appliances, but the rest of the house was pretty run down.
