Can this burner be swapped out for a regular burner? Rather than trying to replace the BWIB. Has anyone done something with this dead space on their stove top?

The burner can be swapped However it requires a new front panel for the stove as well as all the braces, tubing ,valve ,and burner parts. Once you have the parts it’s fairly easy to convert The front panel on the BWB stove has a round hole for the dial , which will.not accommodate the standard lever type valve assembly

The “worth” of the conversion is something you need to decide. If your BBW does not work the conversion would give you 3 working burners Personally I have always considered the BBW a non essential gadget Let me know if I can be of further help Feel free to call and chat about it if you wish Don 401-742-7431
