Just finished taking pictures of my stove and wanted to share it with everyone. I want to sell it and some wonderful members (thanks again) where able to tell me more about this stove. I believe its a 15A, earlier model from the late 30's. With all the features it has, full split cover, back with built in light, timer and salt and pepper shakers, chrome with ridges cook top, chrome feet, etc. it all seem to point to that this stove was a special ordered stove with all the bells and whistles it could have. Chambers stoves are very special, but this one takes it to another level in my opinion. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

That is a beautiful stove. A real understated, yet flashy look if that's possible. The light is unusual too, so this is a special stove. It almost temps me. I've got a black refrigerator in my upstairs kitchen that would pair well with it. But I've already have a project stove for up there, & my little model 74 in the downstairs kitchen. Plus, personally, I prefer the black porcelain tops & handles. I'm fantasizing what this would look like with a black top & teal green handles. That was a popular decorative accent color in the 30s & was an option on Chambers stoves. Chrome was a relatively new thing at the time too, because of new methods of plating. Only a few years earlier, nickle would have been common. This stove was meant to impress, & it still does.

I had to do a little shifting around in my kitchen to fit my C Marilyn in. If this is an A I believe it doesn’t fit flush to the wall the way the Cs do, so it would have been even more of a tweak. But I think I would have gone for this one had I seen it back then, which surprises me because I don’t ordinarily like black appliances. My daughter’s stove (not a Chambers) is black and it always reminds me of Darth Vader. It looks nice cleaned up, and it has a big kettle, and what I could see of the interior looks nice too. If you can take your time selling it, I am convinced you will find the right buyer!

thanks you two! yes I would call this stove sleek, very classic Art Deco style and finishes. I think for the time the Chrome and black are quite a strong look together and I think its more of a classic Deco look for the time. Just think of all those product designs, cars to even lamps, that looked like they were designed to go fast and blast off. Nana this was my mom's stove and she designed her kitchen around it with black stained cabinets, darker red walls, stainless steel/chrome appliances and tall ceilings..... it looked amazing and this stove was always a conversation piece and a point of pride for her. It may take time to find the right buyer but I do think someone will fall in love with it...... the good news is that I am in no rush and its safely stored in a dry, clean basement.

Have you posted it on the other site, Chambers Rangers?
Never mind! I just looked and saw that you did. A lot of the members are the same as here, but there’s a lot that aren’t. More eyes on it is good for you!
