NOBODY has posted since February 4th!! AND if you GOOGLE Chambers stoves, Z-E-R-O link to this site!!! Anybody know how to rectify that on Google search? I just like the the sense of "freedom" over here, and DON'T wanna see this site "die", and all that was ONLY posted out HERE die along with it.
Any suggestions I bet would be GREATLY appreciated by all involved...

This can be a slow time after the holidays, & being the red headed step child that we are makes for being ignored. That said, not showing up in a search makes us unknown on the web. The only way I got us to show up in a search was to search "chambers commune". If I used "chambers stove commune", a couple of blogs show up where we're mentioned. I'm not tech savvy enough to solve this dilemma. I haven't had anything stove related to post about recently, though I do check in a few times a day. I did get a new old kitchen knife with an eBay gift certificate I got for Christmas.
Yesterday I got a couple of cool vintage arm chairs at Goodwill. They are more like lounge chairs made of American white oak by a company out of Fort Worth, Texas. The firm was called A. BRANDT COMPANY, INC. The line of furniture is called RANCH OAK. It's got a rugged western styling with a modern flair. The line came out in 1938 & was made till the mid 80s when they went out of business. My two are most likely from the 60s. One has the original upholstery still. The other has been redone, but shows some wear. They're nearly indestructible being made of heavy white oak. They have a laid back simple style I like, & most importantly, they are very comfortable. A weird tie in is I have a vintage print of the light fixtures from the 1929 Art Deco styled Blackstone Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. Some covet RANCH OAK furniture, & it can sell at a premium. I got them cheap at $25 & $35. You could add a zero to that as far as value to the right buyer. I got them because I love them. They are great to sit in, & most importantly, they are durable & cheap.

This is my go to site for looking up recipes, so I'm here often, but I noticed too that there doesn't seem to be a lot of activity here. I wonder the invisibility on the web has anything to do with the death of net neutrality thanks to Ajit Pai and his band of not so merry men. There is probably a way to pay someone some money and get back on page one of a google search. How irksome!
People can't resist cats. I'll post the latest portrait of Massie!
PS. Nice get with the chairs!!

I can't help with getting more new people here, but I definitely don't want to see this place die. It's my favourite for many reasons, one of which is I can still post pics easily here and love the recipes and general layout. I'm always surprised more folks from the rangers site don't stop by. I think having the web site go down hurt the commune a lot since it helped drive traffic here. Hopefully, someone has an idea.

Well, the cat picture didn't work...I don't think many new people from the other site know this one exists. I try to post recipes on both, but since (I assume) everyone on here is also on there, I don't often bother to post anything else in both places. Sometimes just whichever I open first..

More than once, I have pm'd folks over there, and told them about this website. And then they would join up over here too. I warned them NOT to mention this site on the other one, as Todd does NOT go for that! I THINK chipperhiker had some "rights" bestowed upon her from the site owner. Perhaps SHE has the authority to follow through on the link I posted below... CHEERS! Chuckie

HI Chuckie and co! I am an admin but I have no idea what "ownership" means.
Can you tell me how you got to that page and what you were looking to do? Maybe I can replicate and or go down that path and get farther. I just don't know you goal, so am not sure how to get started.I don't have any ideas to drive traffic, short of advertising... and that takes $.
And maybe I'm the only one, but this and any FB pages are my only options for Chambers. Todd banned me way back when this site was first started because I had the audacity to suggest that people should be able to participate in *both* sites if they chose to do so. Yup. I was surely guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. Eye roll.

I know I did a few searches and went 4-5 pages deep and this site still didn't come up. Chambers, chambers stove forums. chambers advice--nothin'. This was the site I joined first, so it must have been fairly easy to find at one time...because I'm not good at this at all. It had to be easy or I would never be able to have found it.

I found this site through the chamberstove.net site that went down. It linked to this site.
