Well, I THINK I remember this from my Model B restoration of Isabel, BUT I obviously F-O-R-G-O-T it on the Imperial!!! IF cleaning said lines on a bench grinder copper-wire wheel TAKE CARE to N-O-T buff the ferule ends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID wheel mine, and EVERY SINGLE ONE LEAKED!!!!! I googled it, and it said you can lightly pipe dope both the ferule and nut on gas fittings, and it should do the trick. Dwayner did that last night, and while I ran to Home Depot for supplies this morning, he turned on the propane and ZERO leaks!!! So feel " WARNED" before you make the same mistake I did!!! And as soon as dwayner asked me if I had, I remembered then that SOMEONE on the forum back in '09 TOLD me that!! BUT as dwayner oft says, "I've slept since then"... The last two day's work has been because of past SCREWUPS caused by MOI!!! This post reminded me, we've had our Chambers TEN years this summer!! CHEERS! Chuckie

That would have been a PITA!!! Are the lines the same size in the Imperial?

Same as a B/BZ/C....Yes. The burners are all 3/8" but the 2 top pilots are 1/4" and the well I think was 5/32"....at least it is now We had a hard time replacing the well tubing because the end that attaches to the fitting on the pipe (flame contro valvel) required a flared tubing end, and ours was boogered so could not be re-used. Since Chuckie installed the pilot safeties, we just added a B pilot control valve on the new 1/8" T pipe fitting and ran all new 5/32" tubing to the well. Too much information?
