This is macaroni and cheese, dipped in beaten egg, coated with seasoned bread crumbs(I like Old Bay), and fried until crispy and brown. I find it works best if you take your mac and cheese and flatten it out and mush it down in a pan and refrigerate it and the next day cut it into squares. It's kind of fragile, so be gentle with it. But it satisfies like nothing else.

Why wait for skiing weather? Is it the calorie content that concerns you? I'll have you know it is health food because I tossed a bag of frozen broccoli and cauliflower florets in with the macaroni during the last few minutes of boiling!!!

Yes, I have to watch the calories. Boo. But I wondered about adding veg, good thought. I find if I consume my fat calories for breakfast I don't get in TOO much trouble. But then lunch and dinner have to be vegetables and fruits. Phooeee.
