Wot, those are super nice. We had posted a discussion on tiffin a couple of years ago and the problem was the ones we were interested in said not to use over a flame as they were airtight. I think that's what the issue was, anyway. However, if you're using them for oatmeal they should work. Do you bring your oatmeal to a boil before CWTGTO or just put it directly in the well? Any problem with the silcon seal melting? Is the seal removable? It's great having all these options. Sorry about the Zebra; it looked so promising. Wife makes the oatmeal. She adds boiling water to it initially before closing it up. No problems with the seal melting so far, or with it going through the dishwasher... been using it a couple of months now. The seal is removable (replaceable?) but the top latches don't work well without it.

Without the seal do the latches not work well to the point that you can't lift the pot out of the well safely? Because if it's not airtight, but can be lifted up, and if it has a thick enough bottom to cook with, then I want one now!
Actually, I just looked at them again and I think the bigger, 6 liter size that I would want is too wide for the well, but only just. It says 26cm, (I assume they mean diameter)and I don't know if that includes any bit that the latches may add. I measured my big single and it is 24 1/2 cm from the top edge of one latch to the other, plus you do need a smidge of airspace around it, too. Darn!
I'm pretty well set with smaller Twell pots for various purposes, but I'm still seeking one the size of the big single but stainless, or enamel.

I did find these... Wife uses ours in Twell for oatmeal. www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-Steel-BOWL-ONYX-Clamp-Lid-container-salad-tiffin-Food-Safe-CHOOSE-SIZE-/131031899516I came across a couple of the 20CM (just under 8" diameter and about 4 1/2" tall at the top of the clip) of these when I did a repair at a Korean restaurant the other day. They were converting to rectangular storage containers and had two of the round ones that they gave me. The lids have a silicone gasket so I removed them (don't want to create a pressure cooker with no relief valve!) and they fit nicely on a thermobaker. If you aren't going to use a thermobaker or don't have one then I'd recommend using a diffuser under it so you don't scorch your food during preheat. You'll need to put a handle in the lid to lift it out too but that's really easy. I bought some nice stainless ones that lay down from a boat supply store for less than $2 each. They work great in the well. I wasn't sure what all these were used for at the restaurant but saw them take some kimchi out of one of their new rectangular ones so did a search using the term "stainless kimchi storage" and several of the returns included the round ones and the rectangular ones. The site with the best assortment was also the most expensive: www.lifewithoutplastic.com/store/catalogsearch/result/?q=food+storage+container. Amazon and eBay also had them. A Wear-Ever/Chambers single is 9 3/8" outside diameter at the top lip and 9 3/4" at the clip mount brackets, and 7" tall from the bottom of the pot to the top of the lid clips. I have an ilsa diffuser that's pretty thin but the t-well lid hits the pot if I try to use it with with the single.

Vaporvac, I'm reviving an old thread. I love your Mexican t-well pots. I looked at the link and could only find the blue with the bail handle - not mint or yellow perhaps pink. Did they stopp the other colors - or maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
Would you tell me if you can still find the mint green in a pot with a handle?

I only ever saw the blue pots in the store. I've seen other yellow utensils, but not the pots. I called the US reps once and they were very nice giving me names to call, but as noone here had any specific requests, I didn't pursue it further. Perhaps you could try calling them and finding out where they're sold or if they'd send you a yellow. Three years later, I will say it's practically the only pot I ever use as it's the perfect size, cleans like a dream and is so darn cute.
