I just finished watching the movie Bottled Up, and there is a beautiful pastel green 61C that makes a number of appearances. There was also a single kettle used as a compost bucket!!!

We always pause movies when we see an old stove in the background so we can see what it is. It's an extra bonus if it turns out to be a Chambers!

PS: If you watch the show: The Mindy Project, one of Mindy's college friends has a Chambers in her apartment. I had the episode on my DVR for a while, and kept rewinding it and pausing to show everyone till they got sick of me. I do love spotting any old stoves. They crop up all the time!

I've gotten to where I look for the old shows, like Andy Griffith, just to check out the kitchens, appliances, utensils and things like that. They sure seem to hide the ranges a lot. Something to do with paid marketing and no free rides?

I forgot to mention another recent sighting in the movie The Skeleton Twins. It was a very brief appearance towards the end of the movie, just a close up view from the right side of the stove, but I'd know those model c handles and thumb latches anywhere.

The recent James Brown biopic "Get on UP", also featured a beautiful mint green C prominently. I was giddy!

Nana, what episode of The Mindy Project?
I saw another one recently and now can't remember where. Also, a couple of new magazine appearances.

I am so flattered that almost 2 years later you would think I could possibly remember which Mindy Project episode! Really I wish I could help you, but I no longer have it saved, more's the pity. I guess there's always Netflix...It's a funny show and it won't be a complete waste of time to watch it. We laughed a lot at it, even without a Chambers!

I simply did a search, then scanned the results with my eyes for kitchens. As chipperhiker said, "I'd know those model C handles and thumb latches anywhere". We've train our eyes to to spot the familiar shapes. Since I don't watch much in the way of popular TV shows with me being a night worker for most of my life, none are familiar to me. Aside from the first two Lord of the Rings movies, & before that, the Lost in Space movie & the Star Wars Clone Wars that a now deceased friend dragged me to, I haven't been to the movie theater since then. I don't watch newer movies. I've lost interest in most trash that passes for entertainment in recent years. I'm sure I've missed some good ones. I don't miss what I don't know. I have fickle taste, so popular culture has past me by for the most part. I'm a walking talking anachronism. I've traveled "The Road Not Taken". As Thoreau wrote, "If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. That's me to a tee. Your queries about a Chambers sighting was a puzzle to be solved. The unknown has a powerful appeal demanding the attention of an inquiring mind. I couldn't resist. I should address my attention towards other things, but I've always had a wandering eye. Though this is an edited paraphrase of the original poem, the sentiment is unchanged. Sometime I can have laser focus. Other times I want to follow the butterfly.

Cool! I did a search, but all I could find was a couple of pics on the web. It appears to be a green 61-C though. These other two pics show a matching sink cabinet on the adjacent wall. One website I saw called this one of "The 5 Best Movie Kitchens of All-Time", at least in it's writers opinion. The 5 Best Movie Kitchens of All-Time

The room is in an old house & is pretty eclectic. I'd feel comfortable there.
The scene where she's sitting on the counter gets racier, but I've only seen the clip.
I don't see any of these movies, because I don't go to the theater & it's rare I watch any on TV, except maybe old moves. I see snip-its here & there, but mostly nothing that interests me. A night at the movies is an extravagance & not likely to be worth it's price to me. Every once in a while I see something of interest, but I let it pass. There aren't many modern movies that impress me.

After seeing the clip, no WONDER I don't remember ANYTHING bout the KITCHEN!!! I was LOTS younger then too, and FAR before my current Monkey/Chambers days!! CHEERS! Chuckie
