I wasn't quite sure where to post this. I always wanted a copper mixing bowl and, thanks to my PICC, I now have not one, but three!!! Of course, they didn't look like this when i first say them! These are from the 70s? and manufactured by Coppercraft Guild of Taunton, Ma. They made high quality stuff sold at home parties throughout the 50s and 60s and continuing after Tandy bought them out in the 70s. I'm not sure from when these date, but they are SOLID, THICK and HEAVY... very heavy. I'm thrilled. They were a bit more than I'd usually pay ($6), but I think they were worth it. These go pretty cheap on ebay, so if anyone is looking, try there. Now all I need is to finish my stove, but these are a definite inspiration!

Those look like quality bowls. Bet they're heavy, coming from the seventy's. Any dents? Just curious.

Nice copper! Having done a tour in the Navy, when I see brass and copper it brings back memories of shining the "bright work" on the ship. There's a lot of brass and copper on a ship and it all has to sparkle. Before we got underway we coated all of the exterior bright work with petroleum jelly and then cleaned it and polished it with Nevr-Dull. (great on copper and aluminum, too).
Old habits die hard so I used some Nevr-Dull to clean up the handles of one of my C series ranges and they really look nice. Took all the old gunk off that had built up on the undersides of the handles, including a bit of green corrosion near where they install on the valve on a couple of them.
