Given the bonfire-esque performance of my T-well and oven, I decided to give adjusting the T-well a try this evening. I tightened the orifice cap all the way, turned the gas on with a long-handled flame and got… NOTHING - no gas flow whatsoever. I tried the same thing with a stovetop burner and got the same result. So it seems that I was incorrect in my hopes that my 90C had universal mixer pin points. My next step was to remove the orifice cap of the same upper burner, and here's what I found: So, am I right in thinking that this is a solid mixer pin point, and that the orifice caps are actually for natural gas? The orifice cap holes just seem way too big to work with propane. This stove was running on LP gas, so how lucky is the previous owner that he didn't get into trouble with this configuration? I'm thinking I need to find a set of LP orifice caps now. Can anyone confirm my assessment of this gas configuration, please? Or tell me what the real set up is.

Light the burners, while lit adjust the caps to get the desired results. By tightening them all the way down you actually shut the gas off.

It was the part where I shut the gas off that made me think I had the wrong setup (solid pins). I'm so happy to have this site and all the help.
I'll get back to work adjusting them then. Thank you, Don!

Thank you, Don! I am converting from gas to LP. I saw the same thing when I removed the gas orifices. Before I installed the new propane orifices do I need to remove the pointy open tip thing in your second picture?
