I'll with you on that, Chuckie. That is a pain to log into and even though the section and threads are in the same place they don't flow right. cinnabar

I'm with both of you in not liking the new format, but then again I don't like any change to something that is working well & I'm comfortable with. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm sure the change has something to do with the recent rash of spam. I've gone through this many times before with online email programs & eBay. They want to constantly add new features & options to a simple & easy to us format to the point where it becomes almost unusable from over complicating it.

I don't mind it at all, probably because it is similar to other forums that I am on.
I run a '58 Buick forum using phpBB software. I just had to upgrade it due to spammers, but there is no visible change like on Todd's upgrade.

I've gone through this many times before with online email programs & eBay. They want to constantly add new features & options to a simple & easy to us format to the point where it becomes almost unusable from over complicating it. Ebay especially - they really screw things up. I no longer look for classic car parts since they added a cross-listing feature. Now you get thousands of hits when before you might get 100. Most of the listed items are generic crap that you can get locally, such as nuts and bolts, but the sellers cross list them for every car model ever made. I quickly got sick and tired of wading through the crap to find an actual car part, so I no longer look on ebay. Hopefully this won't happen with the stove and fridge parts!
