I picked this up this weekend and it is at a friend's house (in his barn) up in Nacogdoches, Tx until I can bring it to my place and restore it. This is the fridge that I mentioned in my Foodarama thread. chamberscommune.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=display&thread=2169&page=1This Hotpoint is bigger than the Foodarama. I didn't have a measuring tape but it is as tall as my '52 GE (5' 6") and about 5' wide. I will pair this with my Imperial. It is porcelain, not painted. It appears to be made of panels like a stove and I'll disassemble it to send to IPE to be changed to black like the Imperial will be. There are rust issues but I think they can be fixed easily. Here are some pictures. There are two pics in my Foodarama thread linked above: I haven't figured out how the shelves go. The center post is not a divider, there are narrow shelves that fit there and the bigger shelves slide into them. the problem is that the studs in the back of the fridge are not on the same level as the shelf brackets on the sides so the shelves don't sit right. The c=back is flat sheet metal with some rust issues, I may have to replace it. the compressor area has surface rust. The seller said the compressor runs and one of the freezers cools, but the other doesn't.

Very cool. We would love to have one of these dual side-by-side units like a two door Monitor Top, but we have a built-in nook for the refrigerator and it will only handle a single.
