This may depend on the model... but on a Chambers C it is normally under one of the drip pans. It is on a metal plate with a serial number. The plate is screwed onto the metal "strap" that holds up the burner. I vaguely think this is supposed to be the front left burner (?) but someone will correct me if I am wrong. Mine was under the left rear burner, which I know is "non standard."
The first digit of the serial number is reported to be the last digit of the manufacture year. You would then need to know what decade your stove was made to get the full year. For example, my C is an amalgam of 2 stoves that were 1- and 2- stoves, which makes it a 1951/1952 model.

Hi old school. I got my red c90 from a guy in Brooklyn. It was advertised on Craigslist. Check ebay too. There is a store called The Stove lady in 914 but I have no idea if she's reputable or not. I shipped my stove to Don in RI to be refurbished. Anxiously await its glorious return. Good luck in your hunt.

Welcome oldschool. If your up for the hunt, Chambers stove show up on Craigslist, eBay & elsewhere pretty regularly. It depends where you are & how far you're willing to go to get one. Don Mattera would be my first choice if you want to buy one ready to go, but that's only because we know & trust him. The Stove lady also known as Belgrove Appliance may be a good alternative based on your location. It's my understanding that it's a family business that's been around for over 30 years according to their website. Here are links to both of them for your convenience. Good luck on your hunt. I hope we hear more from you. www.matterastoveworks.com/www.belgroveappliance.com/
