Yeah, it's too bad it's all hidden. At least it's all clean now, and the storage compartment is not a dirty rusty box. It's usable now. I have a thing about cooking pans and stuff I use being stored in dirty rusty boxes. Working on the gas valves and stuff today. Going to use my too expensive Valve Grease. $29 for a heaping tablespoon of it, geez. Better be special. Lol

Really beautiful work, Joe. Yup, I officially feel inadequate.

Spent the day messing with the stove instead of customers stuff but there's always tomorrow fork that. Put the gas valves and stuff back together today . It took a while to figure out how to get everything aligned up right and working smooth. But finally got all working smooth and right. Cleaned and regreased all the valves, Cleaned up the gas lines and put it back together.

Just bought this off craigslist so I can finish my red one. How come the stuff I want is never in my town, or in this case state. i wanted a road trip before winter anyway.

"How come the stuff I want is never in my town, or in this case state." Me too! One of my stoves was in the San Francisco area, another east of Sacramento, and the third in Oregon. Then the guy in San Francisco found some irreplaceable parts that were specific to my A series with an incinerator and that I'd never be able to find, so back to San Francisco (picked up the Sacramento Chambers on that trip though). I'm always up to a road trip too, as long as the snow isn't flying. That stove looks like a beauty from the pictures. And the red knobs and Chambers badge look like they might be in good shape too. Good find!

I have always Chambers gas range and because I am moving I am unable to take it with me. I would like to sell it I need to do some restoration because I’ve not used it for a bit. Anyone interested in buying it.
